Clyde Allen Watkins Sr., 87, Fayetteville, Georgia, died October 25, 2002. He was born December 25, 1914 in Douglas County, GA. He lived in Forest Park and Hapeville before moving to Fayetteville six years ago. He was a Veteran of World War II and had been employed by Capital Cadillac for 32 years. He was a former member of the Hapeville Lions Club and a current member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Watkins; a son, Clyde Allen (Liz) Watkins Jr., Conyers; a granddaughter, Melinda George, Ellenwood; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were at the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Priester and Rev. Bill Lacey officiating. Interment at College Park Cemetery. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
