Robert C. and Elizabeth Alexander died in Hendricks County Indiana. There are many tax and land records for Robert in the Hendricks County court records that prove his presence there. This is not the Robert that married Elizabeth Crist. They died in Fayette County, Iowa and they are a different line. The known children for our Indiana Robert were Nancy Ann, Susan, John Franklin, Mary Jane, Abraham Clay, William B., Elizabeth, Robert J. and Moses Alexander. Robert was last seen living with his daughter Mary Hanthorne in the 1860 census at age 83. Elizabeth was 82. We do not know when our Robert and Elizabeth died, but it was before 1870.

She was also called Alec and Elliot - but, the right name was Alexander.
