Irene C. Stegeman, 64, Jefferson City, died Friday at Still Regional Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1926, in Vienna, a daughter of Lawrence and Francis Laubert Renkemeyer. She was married Feb. 15, 1947, to Victor G. Stegeman, who survives at the home. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and of St. Ann's Sodality of that parish. She was also a member of the Disabled American Vetgerans Auxiliary. She worked as a housekeeper at Still Regional Medical Center until her retirement in 1985. Other survivors include three sons, Kenny Stegeman, Henley, Dennis Stegeman, Holts Summit, Dale Stegeman, Jefferson City; four daughters, Jeanette Steele, Karen Stegeman, Debbie Branson and Donna Braun, all of Jefferson City; two brothers, Victor Renkemeyer, Vienna, and Donald Renkemeyer, Jefferson City; six sisters, Viola Rehagen Richardson, Springfield, Naoma Rehagen, Springfield, Bernice Heckman, Jefferson City, Lucille Buechler, Springfield, Lillian Redel, Jefferson City, land Irma Richter, Freeburg; and 10 grandchildren. A son, Stanley J. Stegeman, died in death in 1982. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Gregory Meystrik will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Jefferson City. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Dulle Funeral Home, Jeffersons City, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church, the American Cancer Society, the Disabled American Vetgerans or to the charity of the donor's choice."
