EARLVILLE -- Betty Ann Champlin, 81, of Earlville, died Saturday, Jan. 5, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mendota.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota.
Mrs. Champlin was born April 2, 1926, in Waterman, to Ornald and Hazel (Thorson) Thompson. She married Elmer Champlin on Dec. 28, 1946, in Leland. He died in 2003.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gary and Herbert (Nancy), both of Mendota; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
