A native of Pendleton County, he was a son of the late Job and Virginia (Teter) Davis.
He is survived by his widow, Belle (Bright) Davis; three children, Mrs. Genevieve Piencosky, Burgettstown, Pa.; Mrs. Betty Quattro, Davis; and Hubert Davis, RD 1 , Hambleton; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Houser, Pittsburg, and Mrs. Ganey Phares, Gettysburg, Pa.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted there Thursday at 10 a. m. by Rev. Bill Angel, pastor of Parsons Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Burial will be in McNeeley Cemetery, near Hendricks.
