Rulon S. Scott

Rulon S. Scott, 40, former resident of Salt Lake, died October 2 in a Pasadena hospital. He had been suffering from a heart ailment five weeks.

He was born in Salt Lake October 12, 1892, and had resided here until 15 years ago, when he moved to California. Mr. Scott was active in both civic and church affairs and had presided over the Pasadena branch of the L. D. S. church for nine years. He was a plumbing inspector of Pasadena and business agent for the Pasadena plumbers' union. At the time of his death he was representative for two coast plumbing supply houses.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lavelle H. Scott; a son, Rulon S. Scott Jr., and a daughter Jean Lavelle Scott, all of Pasadena; his mother, Mrs. Josephine S. Scott; a sister, Mrs. Ferris , and a brother, E. E. Scott, all of Salt Lake, and a brother, Albert Scott, of Portland, Ore.

Funeral services were held in Pasadena, followed by burial in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pasadena.
