Mr. Billy Max Skipper, age 55, of Douglas, GA., passed away Saturday, June 23, 1990, at Coffee Regional Hospital following an extended illness. A native of Turner County, Ga., Mr. Skipper was born August 28, 1934, to the late Roy Vinson and Aleph Thomas Skipper.

Mr. Skipper served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Oma Sue Fisher Skipper of Douglas; 4 sons, Vinson Marshall Skipper of Jacksonville, Fla, Duane Benton Skipper of Waycross, Ga, William Max Skipper and Mark Thomas Skipper of Douglas, Ga.; 1 granddaughter, Tiffany Renee Skipper of Waycross; 2 brother, Joe Edward Skipper of Douglas, and Roy Lavern Skipper of Hawkinsville, Ga.

Funeral services were held at the College Avenue Baptist Church with the burial in the Douglas City Cemetery.
