Kitty was born in Los Angeles and was a lifelong resident of Southern California, settling in Vista. She graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1939 and attended UCLA prior to embarking on a rewarding career with the Department of Defense. As Administrative Chief of the San Diego district, Kitty received several commendations for her knowledge and expertise. It was there that she met the love of her life, Troy Neal, with whom she shared 23 years of love and companionship.
