He is survived by his loving bride of two years and two months, Rebekah Shea Green Rush, his parents Gary Mac Rush, and Debra Gail Hulme Rush, one sister; his grandparents Alton and Jean Rush, Harold Hulme; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his in-laws. Jake will also be missed by Buddy the Beagle. Jake was man of God first and foremost in his life that loved and cherished all those around him. He was devoted to his wife and family, had a strong devotion to his Texas Rangers, and a stronger devotion to the great State and Republic of Texas. Jake was a History major from Harding University in Arkansas and member of Chi Sigma Alpha social club. Jake was loved by many and will greatly missed.
