February 26, 1635- Marie Archambault, future wife of Urbain Tessier is born and baptized in Dompierre, Sur Tunis, France.
1648- Urbain Tessier dit Lavigne accepts a Land Grant and builds a house. He then goes back to Quebec and on September 28, 1648 he marries Marie Archambault.....Her family is one that has come to settle the land and she is only 12 years and seven months old.

1649-Montreal continues to be under attack by the Iroquois. Urbain Tessier and his young bride, Marie[Archambault] have their first child, Charles on July 18, 1649. He would be one of 16 children.Marie Archambault was only 12 years and seven months old at the time of her marriage to Urbain Tessier. She lived to be 83 years old and the couple had 16 children. They were wed in Quebec on September 28, 1648. Marie's sister Jacquette wed Paul Chalifou on the same day. She died on Aug 6, 1719, at the age of 83 years, at Pointe-aux-Trembles, near Montreal, and is buried there.
