Viola Bocchetti Holmes, 88, of the 3300 block of Courtney Road, died Oct. 31, 1999. A native of Staten Island, N.Y., she was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Easton, Pa.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by two sons and their wives, Stanley J. and Domenica M. Holmes, Leo J. and Nina R. Holmes; five grandsons, Joey, Lee, Frank, Thomas and Michael Holmes; two granddaughters, Lisa Holmes and Viola J. Smead; four great-grandsons, Thomas H. Holmes Jr., Michael P. Holmes Jr., Leo J. Holmes Jr. and Christopher Smead; five great-granddaughters, Lori Rhoades, Reanna Langert, Stephanie Quisenberry, Catherine Holmes and Tanya Holmes; three great-great-grandsons, Cody Wilson, Morgan Rhoades and Hunter Laugert; and a sister, Mildred Maggio.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland, by Fr. Leo Manalo and Dr. Phillip Martin. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
