He served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Sperry Rand after 30 years as an Engineer. He was a member of Gorman Baptist Church and Dowd Thornton Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie Mae Goodwin; one son, Michael K. Goodwin (Teresa); one grandson, Keith Goodwin; two sisters-in-law, Frances Goodwin and Betty Jo Boothe; one brother-in-law, J.D. Boothe, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Dr. C.J. Bordeaux will officiate.
