Lee F. Cole, 75, of Reelsville died August 16, 2013 at Methodist Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years. He was born July 31, 1938 in Mendenhall, MS, the son of D.L. Cole and Velma Sullivan Cole. He graduated from Mendenhall High School and served for a time in the Air Force. In the past he had been a heavy equipment operator. He was married to Sharon Cole and she passed away in 2010. Lee was a plain spoken man who liked simple things like a good cup of coffee and was a defender of his family, sometimes to a fault.

Survivors include his children, Scott F. Cole, Jerry Sanders, Angela Nittinga and Keith Sanders; grandchildren, Sierra Cole, Christina Crosswhite, Amanda Crosswhite, Melanie Sanders, Marie Sanders, and Allen Sanders and several great-grandchildren; one brother Pete Cole, and three sisters, Laquitta Cole, Justina Cole, and Annetta Cole.


Funeral Information

Visitation will be Saturday from 11-1 at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm at Croy's Creek Cemetery.
