Mildred Fink, age 79, of Austin died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at the Austin Medical Center.
She was born July 23, 1922, in Rose Creek, to John and Kathryn (Mullenbach) Fink.
She was a retired employee of Hormel Foods and enjoyed reading, television, playing cards and taking care of loved ones.
Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Stuhr, Austin; Myrtle and Newman Tesdahl, Austin; Kathleen and Dale Guttormson, Austin; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Dorothy Lahann and Donna Biesen.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, with a 4 p.m. CCW rosary and a 6:30 pm wake service and also from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Service: 1 p.m., Thursday, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Paul Nelson officiating. Casket bearers will be Gary Miller, Donald Miller, Tom Laite, Terry Lahann, Dennis Guttormson and Al Crom.
Interment: St. Peter's Cemetery, Rose Creek.
