She was a member of the Brunswick First Church of God and had been employed as a practical nurse at various hospitals, nursing home, and also private-duty nursing.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Earl, Baltimore; a niece, Evelyn Webber, Brunswick; a nephew, Herschel Himes, Knoxville; brother, Arnold Mentzer, York, Pa.; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four children, Herbert, Charles, Nona and Arnold Merryman.
Services were held at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown; interment in Locust Valley Church Cemetery, Middletown.
