George Steve Cannon - BLOOMINGDALE - George Steve Cannon, 66, passed away early Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Dewey L. and Addie Mae Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a member of the Local Union 709 where he worked as an iron worker for over thirty-five years. He attended the Liberty Pentacostal Church. Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Cannon, his grandson Samuel Jackson Cannon, his great-grandson, Randy Raymond Arnsdorff, and his great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Michelle Wheeler. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Michelle Smith of Faulkville; three sons, Steve Cannon of Faulkville, Ashley Cannon of Ellabel, and Jakob Cannon of Faulkville; three brothers, Jimmy Cannon of Oliver, Danny Cannon of Pooler, and Donald Cannon of Faulkville; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Westside Memorial Gardens.
