Katherine "Katie" W. Berry, Galesburg Chapel 79, of Galesburg, Ill., died at 5:05 am Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Knox County Nursing, Knoxville, Ill.
She was born August 13, 1934 in Galesburg, Ill. the daughter of Bud and Nellie Wilkins Harrison. She married Richard L. Berry on August 15, 1953 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2005.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Nancy) Berry and Ronald Berry both of Galesburg; three sisters, Petie St. George, Natalie Steck and Lena Robertson all of Galesburg, three grandchildren, Lindsay Archer, Nikki Berry and Cassie Berry and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Katie was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God. She attended Galesburg schools.
Funeral services are scheduled for 7 pm Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Don Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday at the chapel.
