Geraldine Hafley Greene, 79, Lebanon, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 in Bardstown.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1933 to the late Nettie Irene Redford and Caleb Hafley.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Charlotte Ann Greene; a brother, Frank Hafley; and five sisters, Sara Overstreet, Margaret Cox, Catherine Hill, Velma Merrick, and Fannie Hayden.
Survivors include: one son, Jason Greene Jr. of Lebanon; three daughters, Karen Yates of Campbellsville, Pam Greene of Lebanon, and Annette Jewell of Springfield; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a special friend; Bobby Jenkins of Willisburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Ryder Cemetery. Bro. Anthony Gilbert officiated.
Active pallbearers were Lester Hayden, Robert Hill, Randy Porter, Bruce Lewis, Joe Hill, and Tim Holderman.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Greene, Jordan Green, Blake, Greene, Christopher Jewell, Jerry Taylor, and Tommy Hayden.
