Doris (Emmons) Cook, age 78 of Bloomington, died Monday at the home of her son Kevin Cook and his wife Kim in Bloomington.
She was a retired nurse.
She is also survived by her son, Gregory Cook and his wife Gayle of San Antonio, TX; two grand-daughters, Lydia and Natalie Cook of Bloomington; two brothers, Marvin Emmons of Stockton, MO, and David Emmons of Prairie Village, KS; and one sister, Karen Dobbs of Atchison, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Cook.
Services will be Saturday morning at Mission Park Funeral Chapel South in San Antonio, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
