Lewis, Dianna J. (Liden) Age 71, of Apple Valley, passed away July 28, 2012, peacefully in her sleep after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Dianna was known by a few names: Dianna, DeeGee, Deeg, Mom, Grandma DG and Great Grandma DG. She is survived by sons, Dave (Jody) Lewis, Dan Lewis; daughters, Cathy (Brian) Peters, Betsy Lewis; grandchildren, Tyler and Kara Peters, Jaime Rahn, Caitlin and Rick O'Connor; great-grandchildren, Haley and Dylan Rahn and Ryan Lichy. She is also survived by sister, Nancy (Tom) Grimes and their families; also survived by former husband, Gary and his best friend Cheryl. Deeg graduated from Mpls. South High, in 1959, and attended Augsburg College for 3 years. She worked for 6 years for Red Owl and 31 years for Rainbow Foods as a bookkeeper/ cashier. She finally retired to help care for her beloved grandchildren. Memorial service 11 AM Thursday, August 2nd at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952) 924-4100. Visitation at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
