Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Stone, 87, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held on Wednesday, December 22, at the Stone Church of Christ in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN.
Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services at the Stone Church of Christ.
Mrs. Stone passed away on Monday, December 20, 2004, at her residence.
She was born August 14, 1917, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Landon Hall and Zella Allen Hall.
Mrs. Stone was married to the late Hooper Stone, and was a supervisor for Heavy Duty Manufacturing Co. in Gainesboro.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Ben Wade Stone;
1 Brother: Eldon Hall; and 2 Sisters: Ozina Carter and Edith Keith.
Survivors include 1 Son: Jimmy Stone of Whitleyville, TN;
1 Daughter: Jackie Stone of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Brother: Jack Hall of Lawrenceburg, TN;
3 Grandchildren: Kim, Karla, and J.B. Stone; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Bro. O’Neal Huffines will officiate at the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jennings Creek Fire Dept. and Community Center
