Tammy Dolye
(July 4, 1964 - August 24, 2013)

Tammy Lynn Doyle, 49, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Central Baptist Hospital, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born July 4, 1964 in Flemingsburg to Jerry and Norma Humphries McRoberts.

Tammy was a faithful Christian and a member of Tollesboro Christian Church. She was a homemaker, who doted on her family and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her home was always open, and she enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests. Tammy also liked working outdoors and gardening in her spare time. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Tennessee, with her family. She liked watching "Duck Dynasty" and listening to worship music by Chris Tomlin. You could usually find her sitting on her front porch swing, reading her Bible.

Tammy was a woman of strong faith, and loved sharing that faith with others. Through her fight with cancer, her strength and joy inspired many people.

Her mother and her husband of 30 years — Timothy Lee Doyle — preceded Tammy in death. Tammy is survived by her father; four children, Kasey (Alan) Hill, T.J. (Rebecca) Doyle, Hannah (Ben) Hamm, and Haley Doyle; two brothers, Larry (Juanita) McRoberts, and Greg McRoberts; three sisters, Debbie (Ronnie) Whiteman, Amy McRoberts Workman, and Stacy McRoberts Powell; grandson, Timothy Benaiah Doyle; grandmother, Gladys Humphries; future son-in-law Christopher Gooding; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Wednesday at Tollesboro Christian Church with John Moore and Andy Bisotti officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 Tuesday at the Tollesboro Christian Church. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ruark, Marty Roberts, Tim Ritchie, Ed Applegate, Larry Bryant and Ricky Brown. Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements
