Phyllis Virginia Miller, 87, of Lindside, W.Va., passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at her home. Born on November 8, 1922, in Monroe County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Letcher A. and Martha Hazelwood Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald Miller; one sister, Jewell Bradley; and six brothers, Harold, Ralph, Roy, Edward, Quentin and Bernard Bradley. Phyllis was a retired employee of the Celanese Corporation at Narrows, Va., and a member of the Spruce Run Church of the Brethren at Lindside. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Miller, of Lindside, and Mildred Weikle and husband, Elwyn, of Union; two grandchildren, Lesa Brookman and husband, Kevin, and Joyce Waddell and husband, Ryan; two greatgrandchildren, Alyssa Brookman and Sarah Anne Waddell; one stepson, Larry Miller and wife, Valerie, of Goldsboro, N.C.; one stepdaughter-in-law, Donna Jean Miller; five step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, with Pastor Rodger Boothe and Pastor Dewey Broyles officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery, Lindside, WV. Friends may call from 6 until 9 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010, at the funeral home.
