Harry "Skip" Joseph Brand
Age 61, of New Palestine, passed away on November 21, 2011. Born on June 29, 1950, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Joseph F. and Kathleen C. (Willey) Brand. Harry graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in 1969 and earned an associate's degree from Marian University School of Nursing. He married Juanita Marie Ebert on November 6, 1987. Mr. Brand worked as a nurse at Wishard Hospital in the intensive care unit and in Interventional Radiology for ten years.
Surviving him are his wife, Juanita Brand of New Palestine; step-son, Shawn R. (Carolyn) King of New Palestine; brother, Ronnie D. Brand of Indianapolis; sisters, Judy K. (Wayne) Dye of Charlottesville and Vickie L. (Norman) Phelps of Tucson, Arizona; and grandchildren, Lillian and William.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 25, 2011, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield. Memorial contributions in memory of Skip may be made to the Mental Health Association of Hancock County, 98 East North St, Greenfield, Indiana, 46140.
