He was retired from Riceland Foods in Corning. He was a veteran of the Army/Air Force serving in World War II.
He was united in marriage to Geneva Ballard Arnold on June 24, 1949.
He was a member of the Corning Church of Christ. He enjoyed deer hunting and gardening.
Survivors include his son, Charles "Eddie" and wife Betty Arnold of Corning; sister, Joy Baker of Corning; granddaughter, Charla and husband Michael Foster of Batesville; and grandson, Noah Foster of Batesville.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Addie Walls Arnold; wife, Geneva Arnold; and brother, Austin Arnold.
Services were by: Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Corning Cemetery.
