Vera Jane Dickerson

Vera Jane Dickerson, age 89, died on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Prairie du Sac on February 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Orlin and Neva (Weast) Bonham. She was united in marriage to Glenn Dickerson on April 5, 1941. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1997. Vera was formerly employed by Kroger Foods, Consumers Co-op, and most recently, Maplewood Nursing Home. She was a member of First United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a sister, Doris Blum; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Francis "Buster" Bonham.
A memorial service will be held at FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 with Pastor Bill Kapp officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
