Dr. Delano Ames, a son of Rev. Dr. J.G. Ames of this city, died in Baltimore last night, at his residence in that city, of pneumonia, contracted shortly after his return from a trip to Bermuda, taken for the benefit of his health.
He was born in Springfield, Ohio, in 1868, was a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Class of 1891, and also a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Maryland. Dr. Ames was formerly director of the Pathological Laboratories in the Baltimore Medical College, and at the time of his death was pathologist to the Union Protestant Infirmary. He was also a member of the University Club and of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He is survived by a wife and one child, a boy of five years. He had many friends in this city.
