Ida, the fifth of nine children of Jacob Alphonso Field (1837-1891) and Phoebe A. Blake (1838-1920) was born in February 1866 at Gray, Maine. Ida married Josiah W. Allen (1860-1930), the son of Andrew Lee and Harriet F. (Knight) Allen on 22 July 1883 at Gray, Maine.[1]
They had two children born at Gray:
- Frank Eugene Allen (1885-1975) m. 15 Aug 1906 at Gray, ME, Lelia May Bailey (1888-1983)[2]
- Ella A. Allen (b. 8 May 1895; d. )[3]
Ida Emma (Field) Allen died on 28 April 1930 in her 64th year at Gray, and is buried in Gray Village Cemetery at Gray, Cumberland, Maine.[4]
