Mrs. Lucretia M. Stevens
Mrs. Lucretia Mary Stevens, age 82 years, 7 months and 16 days, widow of Virgil Stevens, deceased, died at her home near Hartford, at 11:30 p. m. Sunday, after a brief illness of pneumonia. She leaves one son, Lon Stevens, of near this city, and was a sister of Rev. R. D. Bennett. She had been a member of the Methodist church for many years, and was on of the county's most respected women.
The funeral was preached by Rev. T. T. Frazier, Monday afternoon, after which the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Alexander in the presence of a large congregation of friends.
