Funeral services for Joy Nelson, 83, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nelson died August 22, 2013 at her home.
A native of Waelder, TX, Joy lived in Silsbee for 53 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patricia Hopkins and husband John of Vidor, Loretta Baker and husband Dwiatt III of Evadale, Lisa Harris of Buna and Jamie Nelson of Orange. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
