Mrs. Nichols was born November 3, 1914 in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Charlie Peter Monroe Yarbrough, and Gillie Martha Edmondson Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her husband Looney Glover Nichols. She was a housewife and retired seamstress from the Toddle Tyle Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church.
A funeral will be Wednesday, June 21 at 2 p.m. at Ephesus Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are daughter Jeanette Haggard of Covington, Ga.; sons, Milford C. Nichols of Smyrna, Ga. and Larry W. Nichols of Powder Springs, Ga.; sisters, Genova Conlee of California, Jewell Pitts of Griffin, Ga., and Eva Arnette of Franklin, Ga.; brothers, Charlie Yarbrough of Birmingham, Ala., Robert Yarbrough of Graham, N.C., and Tommy Yarbrough of Franklin, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
