She died at the home of her step son, Frank Twining, and had a short death notice published in the Oberlin Tribune on Friday June 21, 1912, page6. She is buried next to her mother Polly Parker Bates in the Camden Cemetery. Her father is buried in Carter Cemetery on Carter gravel road off Rt. 60.
