OBITUARY-
Robert Harry Wigham, age 78, of Adams, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at Redeemer Residence, Minneapolis, Minn.
Robert was born Sept. 26, 1926 in Brownsdale, Minn. to William and Edna (Moore) Wigham.
Robert married Kathleen Wolf on Sept. 28, 1948 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams. After serving in the Army during World War II Robert worked many jobs including farming, working as a janitor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Hunting Elevator in Rose Creek and at Osmundson Brothers Implement until his retirement.
Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, the Knights of Columbus, Adams American Legion Post #146, Olaf B. Damm Post #1216 Veterans of Foreign Wars and a volunteer firefighter in Adams for over 10 years.
Robert is survived by wife: Kathleen Wigham, Adams, Minn., sons: Garry (Donna) Wigham, Blooming Prairie, Minn.; Robert (Colleen) Wigham, Owatonna, Minn.; Steven (Denise) Wigham, Geneva, Minn.; daughters: Nancy (David) Jax, Bloomington, Minn.; Kathy (Douglas) Schneider, Liberty, Mo.; 22 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters: Jean King, Mitchell, S.D.; Dorothy (Orrie) Anderson, Adams, Minn.; Joyce (Dave) Gomer, Cape Coral, Fla.; brothers: Duane (Meridee) Wigham, Adams, Minn.; Irene Wigham, Stewartville, Minn.; Paul (Audrey) Wigham, Kasson, Minn.
He is preceded in death by: parents, son Bradley, twin brothers Ronald and Donald, brother Bill and sister Rose.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father James Seitz officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams. Visitation will be held at the Adams Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service and at the Adams Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.
Organist will be Helen King.
Soloists will be June Wolf and Angela Jax.
Casket Bearers will be Eddie Wolf, Chad Wigham, Joseph Wigham, Ryan Wigham, Darrell Wigham and Bryant Schneider.
