Stanley J Werdenhause, 69 Jefferson City, died Wednesday at St. marys Health Center.

He was born July 26, 1924, in Meta, a son of Anton and Margaret Twehaus Werdenhause. He was married Sept. 6, 1947, in Jefferson City to Ruth Hoer, who survives at the home.

He worked for Beneficial Finance for 29 years and Capital Savings and Loan for eight years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Holy name Society, 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Dan C Copin General Assembly, American Legion Roy Sone Post 5 and VFW Roscoe Enloe Post 1003.

Other survivors include: one son Tom Werdenhause, Jefferson City; two daughters, Sue Kremer, Jefferson City, and Laurie Papelian, Atlanta; one sister, Pauline Schauwecker, Westphalia; and Five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 am Friday at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Donald Siciliano will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm today at Dulle Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm.

Memorials are suggested to the Helias Foundation or the Vogel-weid Learning Center.
