Dora Bea was a homemaker, mother and loving wife to her husband, Dr. James Rogers. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, Birthday Club and of chapter A.J. of P.E.O. Dora held the office of secretary and treasurer in the Craighead Poinsett Medical Alliance and was a past board member for Abilities Unlimited. She loved reading, musicals, plays and the arts.
Dora Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Cleo Blevins Pyland; brothers, Charles and Bill Pyland; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Blevins; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Pyland; and nephews, Lee Pyland and Terry Wayne Pyland.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Dr. James Rogers of the home; son, Dr. Tad Rogers and wife Sherry of Mountain Home; Beth Snodgrass and husband Dr. Scot Snodgrass of Jonesboro; sister, Bettye Rogers and husband Johnny Mack of Jonesboro and two grandchildren, Trey and Abby Rogers.
A memorial service was held at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial was private.
