MRS. BESSIE V. ALEXANDER, 82, widow of Joseph E. Alexander, died at the Williamsport sanitorium Wednesday morning after a lengthy illness. She was born at Burkittsville, the daughter of the late John W. and Sarah E. Gaylor Smith.
She was a member of the Church of God, Locust Valley.
Surviving are her son, A. Lee Alexander, Boonsboro, two grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Locust Valley Cemetery.
