Born Jan. 3O, 1926 in Bland County, she was the daughter of the late Albert T. Davis and Annie King Davis.
Surviving are her husband, Oakley Neal Banes of Pulaski; one son, Edward D. Banes of Richlands, N.C.; two brothers, Wayne T. Davis and Ford H. Davis, both of Pulaski; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Thornspring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements.
