Word has been received in Huntington of the death of Mrs. Samuel Abbott that occurred Thursday night at 11 o'clock at her home in Cambridge City. Mrs. Abbott was seventy seven years old. The family lived in Huntington county a number of years ago near Harlansburg, southwest of Huntington.
Mrs. Abbott was Mary Richardson prior to her marriage. She is the aunt of a number of Huntington county residents. Surviving in addition to the husband are four children, Edward Abbott of near Columbia City, Leatha Inco at home, Florence of Pittsburg and Minnie Keever of Muncie.
Mrs. Ervin Buzzard of this city is a niece of Mrs. Abbott and nephews are Bert, A. D., Chester and Edward Schell of Huntington county, Frank Schell of Hemlock, Mich., and Pearl Schell of this city.
Huntington residents are expected to attend the funeral which will be held at the Brick church one mile west of Hagerstown.

*Mary Elizabeth Richardson married Samuel Abbott on April 15, 1870 in Wayne Co., IN. Mary was the daughter of Aaron and Pracilla Hoover Richardson. Mary was one of at least nine children of Aaron and Pracilla: Lucie, Mary (Samuel Abbott), Charlotte (Henry S. Walker), Hannah (Albert Marion Walker), Pracilla, Levi, George Clark (Minnie Belle Defore), Luanna and Sarah Belle (Walter Arthur Quimby). Mary and Samuel had six children, four daughters and two sons: Franklin H. (Rose Ann Adams), Minnie Belle (Granville Keever), Flora Alice (Henry Moschell), Charles Edward (Nellie Jeanetta Brown), Ardella May and Leatha Ellen (Vinson Inco).
