He was born in Altoona, son of Jason M. Sr. and Mary (Shaffer) Henry.
Surviving are his parents; a daughter, Peighton; two sisters: Sarah Knab and husband, Ryan, and Brittney Merritts; three brothers: Scott Heverly and wife, Ashley, Robert Weaver and Matthew Weaver and wife, Jessica; his grandparents: George and Gwinn Henry, James Farbaugh and Brenda Merritts; his great-grandparents: George W. Henry Sr. and Kay Merritts; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his best friend, Landon.
Jason was a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and was employed at Henry Enterprises of Hollidaysburg as a crew foreman. He was a past member of the Geeseytown Community Volunteer Fire Company.
Jason enjoyed his family, especially his Princess Peighton, his coworkers, riding his motorcycle, camping, target shooting and his dog, Casey.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, by Pastor James Zaebst. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to a trust in care of First Commonwealth Bank to benefit Jason's daughter, Peighton.
