Alma May Taglauer
Alma May Taglauer, 89, a resident of Parkview Care Center the past 7 1/2 years, died there at 2:50 a.m. today, May 7, 1991.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John W. Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to First Lutheran Church and Parkview Care Center Activity Fund.
Mrs. Taglauer was born June 20, 1901, at Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Albert and Callie Short McKenzie. The family moved to Missouri when Alma was 2 and she grew up in Liberal, Mo. She has lived in Fairfield since her marriage to John Benjamin Taglauer on June 18, 1935, at Nevada, Mo. He died Oct. 2, 1977. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, was a homemaker and also worked at Enolia Leathers' beauty shop for several years.
Surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews. Six sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
