Son of Arnold Moss of Illinois and Priscilla Holland. Husband of Martitia Flemming.
Died of hemorrhage of brain
Death certificate says Van Buren Cemetery. I am unsure if it is City or Masonic.
Informant is Mrs. Pearl Carter of Van Buren.

James and Letitia (b. Apr 1866 MO) married about 1884. By 1900 they had 5 children, 4 living. Their known (by me) Children are Pearl (b. Sep 1885 MO), Fred (b. Nov 1887 MO), Carrie (b. Jun 1890 MO), Ruth (b. Apr 1895 MO), Helen (b. 1901 MO), and Ralph (b. 1901 MO).
James' wife Letitia died between 1901 and 1910.

James was my second cousin three times removed.

Info from Kathie:
I was searching The Current Local newspaper from Van Buren, MO and located an article in the 10-11-1900 issue that spoke of James Moss and wife having twin babies, a boy and a girl. That might be Ralph & Helen Moss and possibly something happened to their mother after their birth. No other issues are available for 1900 so I cannot verify that.
