Walter A. Wegrzyn, age 89, of Beverly Hills Florida passed away on August 20, 2013. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:30 AM, Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Mr. Wegrzyn was born June 24, 1924 in Adams, MA, son of the late Albert and Apolonia (Nowak) Wegrzyn. Mr. Wegrzyn was a Navy veteran serving during World War II and worked as a machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft, retiring after 43 years of service. He moved to Beverly Hills, Florida from Shelton, CT in 1996 and was a member of V.F.W. Post # 10087, Beverly Hills.
Mr. Wegrzyn was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary A. Wegrzyn. Survivors include daughter, Suzette and her husband, Tony Salvano of Beverly Hills, FL, brother, Joseph Wegrzyn and 2 sisters, Cecilia Barbeau and Emily Bednardczyk, all of Adams, MA.
