Born and raised in Chester, Pa he attended Chester Upland School District, joined the U.S. Army where he served for many years, and later receiving his Master Degree in Human Services at North Lexington University.
A devoted son, father, brother, friend and mentor. He had a love for motorcycles. For many years he followed the Islamic religion diligently, upon being called home Mr. Potter converted back to Christianity and became a member of First Pentecostal Baptist Church. Survivors: Frank leaves to cherish his memories a very special lady Melanie Scott; parents Frank E. Potter Sr., Margaret Potter, Julia Potter; Brothers: William and Howard Scott, Gordon Potter, Anthony, Andre (preceded in death) Glenn, and Steve Pittman; Sisters: Janet, Barbara Potter and Joy Pittman; Paternal Grandmother: Mosouri Potter; Maternal Grandmother: Julia Strand Hinch.
Children: Jermar (Rasheeda), Aaron, Russell, YoVonda, Niesha, Khalid, Brandon, JaBree, Shahir, TiAna, Stephon, Mikal, Dwight, Domonique, Brittany, Amir, Imani, Sheriff, Frank, Aalaiyah. 26 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
