She was a longtime employee of Bausch & Lomb and was a cook for the Garrett County Sheriff's Office. She enjoyed camping and especially the love of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; two sons; two daughters; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.∼
Lucretia Pearl "Perk" Watring, 79, of Deer Park died on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 10, 1934 in the Bethlehem area of Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Olin (Wilson) Tasker.
She was a long-time employee of Bausch & Lomb and a cook for the Garrett County Sheriff's Department. She enjoyed camping and, especially, the love of her family. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Watring, with whom she had spent 37 years; two sons, Floyd Collins and wife Wanda and Glenn Dale Collins and wife Donna , all-of Deer Park; two daughters, Norma Dawson and husband Les of Deer Park and Ruth DeWitt and husband Richard of Loch Lynn; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford Tasker and wife Judy of Oakland; two sisters, Eleanor Moon and husband George of Oakland and Susan Fulk of Bayard, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In-addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Donald Collins; two sisters, Vivian "Bib" Hardesty and Vera Ferguson; two brothers, Leo Tasker and Clement Tasker; and a grandson, Stephen Schrock.
Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, August 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the Deer Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 21st from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating.
Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery.
