Anna Mae (Tweedy) Brock, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Monday August 19, 2013 at 12:21 pm in Southwood Health and Rehabilitation. Anna worked as a cook for Catholic Charities and Ambrosini’s Restaurant and had also worked at Columbia Records. She was born March 31, 1928 in Paris, IL to Lawrence Tweedy and Nellie (Wilson) Tweedy. Survivors include a son, Scott Brock and his wife Susan of Riley; a step-son, Glenn Brock, Jr. and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Glenn Brock III, Christopher Brock and wife Meghan, Brandon Brock, Cody Brock, Paul Williams and wife Angie, and Tabitha Williams; great grandchildren, Trinity, Brittany, and Emily Williams; 3 sisters, Lola Joiner of Florida, Marion Walker of Paris, IL, and Jane Rhodes of Paris, I, and a son-in-law, Jim Williams.. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn Brock who died in 2000, a daughter, Rebecca Williams who died in 2012. She was a member of Blackhawk Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday August 22, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services on Friday August 23, 2013 at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to either Catholic charities or Alzheimer’s Association.
