She was known to everyone who knew her as a compassionate and giving human being. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Hautie Allen.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Don Terry, as well as three daughters, Stephanie Teresa (Joe) Ulrich, Donna Nicholas, Sharon (Skipper) Smotherman; brother, Charles Allen of Three-Way, TN; sister, Polly Garner of Oakland, TN; grandchildren, Ronnie, Donne and Ashley Dudgeon, Blane and Lindsey Nicholas, Caleb, Nathan and Elijah Smotherman; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Williams and Jack Dudgeon.
A Celebration of Life, and the life that she shared with those around her will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Antioch Baptist Church, with Dr. Bill Espy officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, August 23rd from 5 - 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 12 - 1 p.m. at the church.
