Virginia Wackler, 85, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at the Adams Health Care Center in Adams.
She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Deer River, to Ray Wood and Elma (Knutson) Wood and was raised on a farm near Taopi. She attended school through the eighth grade in Adams and in Feb. 1946, she was united in marriage to Harvey Wackler and they made their home in Kansas City, Mo.
She is survived by a brother John Wood and his wife Betty, Taopi; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother and two sisters.
No services are planned.
