Robert A. Laprise, age 65, of Manitowoc, died Monday, December 23, 2002, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
Robert was born May 29, 1937, son of the late Arthur A. and Mary S. Vyt Laprise in Detroit, Mich. He grew up and was educated in Detroit. Robert married the former Darlene E. Schumacher in 1965 in Detroit, Mich. She preceded him in death in 1990. He married Kathlen M. Kolodzinski in 1991 in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Robert and Kathleen moved to Manitowoc in 1991 and was employed with the Manitowoc Equipment works until retiring in 1995. He was currently co-owner of The Crafty Lady in Manitowoc. Robert was a member of the Manitowoc City Center Association and a former treasurer of the association.
Survivors include his wife: Kathleen, Manitowoc; one son: John P. Laprise, Wheeling, Ill.; one daughter: Laura K. LaTosch and her partner, Jennifer LaTosch of Ferndale, Mich.; one sister-in-law: Yvonne Catelli of Sacramento, Calif., and her husband,Norm. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Darlene; and one grandson: Connor LaTosch.
Relatives and friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 702 State St., Manitowoc, on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
