Debbie was born on August 8, 1957 in Stamford, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Erin Joy (Greer) Blancet. Debbie managed the local Allsup's store in Stamford for the last several years and was faithful to support the many youth events in Stamford. She was always willing to donate and help out the youth organizations. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Debbie is survived by a daughter and son in law, Sabrina and Eddy McIlwain of Hamlin; a son, Johnny D. Curtis of Abilene; a brother and sister in law, Rodney and Rose Mary Blancet of Stamford; two grandchildren, Cedar McIlwain and Cequin McIlwain, both of Hamlin; a nephew, Brice Blancet and wife Heather of Trent; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
