James E. Hardy Jr., age 69, of Austell, Georgia, passed away August 20, 2013. He retired from Cobb County Board of Education as a School Counselor. James played the bagpipes and loved traveling, reading and photography.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Linda Hardy; daughter and son-in-law Alison and Glenn Davis; and granddaughters Julia and Sarah.
Graveside services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Austell Fire Department, 5890 Mulberry Street, Austell, GA 30168 in memory of James.
